Hi guys,
I need your help!
I don't know when we should go, originally I was thinking of going 28Feb-1st March, but then I read how cold it will be, now hubby will get all worried if we go when it is cold because of the kids. I also read in Zone c in France it will be the last weekend before the kids go back to school after a 2 week break, should I worry about that?

The musts are DLH, and over a weekend,
but the warmer it gets the more expensive it gets, and the longer we wait the bigger I will get. But if we go sooner, the prices will be better, but it will be cold!

What would you do?
Help!:flower3:

That's a tough one.

Last year we went 4th-8th Feb, Mon-Fri. Whilst it was cold it certainly wasn't freezing and it was sooo quiet that we got loads done.
We also went in October so we were there for the very first day of the Halloween season (sat) Never ever again is all i can say!!
For me it would have to be avoid weekends where possible because it really does get so much busier.

Yeah i know, i don't really want to go at a weekend, but it's the only time we can really go as we don't want to take DS out of school. How cold would feb half term be, I'd prefer the park to be quiet, don't mind cold so much, it's the wet i don't look forward to!

If it has to be a weekend then it has to be a weekend outside of school holidays too!

I'd suggest a mid-week in March personally (also when I'm going).

Any more ideas, when do you recommend?
Is there any such thing as a quiet weekend?!

We haven't found our March weekends too bad, certainly nowhere near as crowded as the November weekend we did in 2007.
March's weather is unpredictable though and of course mid March this year is in that in between stage, with the 15th festivities finishing and the Magical party starting later on. The first weekend in March is the Welsh Festival, don't know if that would make the park busier, sorry I'm not being much help am I ?

DLH though wooohoo:cheer2:

I would rather have no queues and cold weather than sunshine and crowds. I would also say go before the end of the second trimester as you might feel a bit uncomfortable on your feet all day and be restricted with the rides you can get on. Everyone is different but I was always better during the second trimester - morning sickness gone and a bit less like a dish-rag!

I'm suffering big time from morning sickness, though currently I prefer to call it "all day nausea" since that's exactly what I've got, from when I wake to when I go to sleep, I feel like vomiting but never actually do! Horrible!

But yes you're right I don't want to go once past my second trimester, will feel too heavy to enjoy myself, so that means we'd have to go before mid May.

Would May half term be a bad idea? Has anyone been before, what are the crowds like?
You guys are great as usual!:grouphug:

I haven't been then but a friend did ~ she thought it was very busy after going February half-term the previous year but when I saw her photos and videos (of the May trip) I said "Where are all the guests" :rotfl2: :rotfl2: the place looked like a ghost-town after my August and Christmas trips. :rotfl:

Suffice to say that I wouldn't class it as busy but many would. February half-term will be even quieter though.
