Help me decide? Queen of hearts costume

I like the details on the 3 hearts on #1, but I think it looks more "finished" with the hearts running down the sides on #2. #1 looks, to me, like there's something missing without the hearts going down the side.

I agree with this post. The extra detail on the sides makes it look more like a Queen of Hearts card. I like the detail on the larger hearts though.

My Dd played the Queen of Hearts in our drama production a couple of years ago.

when i do the embroidery hearts in the middle, and the edging down the front it looks a little busy. I did the embroidery last night, and found the edging on clearance at jo-anns today, so hence the dilema.

Hold on, i'll get a pic of that.
