Ok so heres the cast:
me,dd,dgs,df,dd,df. We will need a place to sleep 5 with preferable 2 bathrooms. I like r
the idea of kitchenette so our choices will be new AOA lion king,FW cabin or BLT 1 bedroom(there are actually 2 baths at BLT... Oh, and my dgs is 6 years old and this is his first trip.
I am soooooo conflicted...at the end of the day I know it is just a resort room but man...amI having a tough time trying to decide so any and all input is really appreciated!!
:thumbsup2

Out of the ones you listed if money is not an issue bay lake hands down that would be 1st choice.

Agreed, if money is not a big issue, Bay Lake Tower is best. I've stayed in a 1BR there and loved it for multiple reasons.

If you are trying to save money, then I would choose the Cabins at FW...they only have one bathroom, but for a 6-year-old's first trip, would still be very neat to experience I would think.

Thanks for the input...BLT looks amazing so I think I am leaning towards that...Plus Chef Mickeys is there, too!!:lmao:

Well out of those options isn't AOA family suite and two bedroom BLT the only rooms with two bathrooms? A family of 6 might do better at a resort with two standard rooms pricewise and then you'd have two bathrooms.

So that's down to two, and frankly if I was a 6 year old boy Lion King would totally win but probably not a big thrill with the couples since someone would have to sleep apart.

How long is your trip. Are you driving in or flying? An off site house rental would give you lot's more bang for your buck, some of those 3 and 4 bedroom/2 and 3 bath house rent out for less than BLT, but you'd have to rent a car if you were flying.

I think I would go with 2 rooms somewhere. What about WL or Akl. I would only say Blt if you get a 2 bdr. 6 people in a 1 bdr, cabin or suite just seems a little too crowded to me.

:)I would rent from a DVC Member at David's rentals..a sponsor on that forum. I would get a 2 bedroom. Then to off set the cost I would eat several meals in the full kitchen in the villa. You have to consider occupancy rules. I am not sure 6 people can stay in a one bedroom.

We rented a 2 bdrm at blt from David's DVC and the price was great! You might want to check it out with that many people.
