Help me decide on ticket package.

Hi to all !


We are in the process of plannig a WDW trip for 2006. We want to stay in Fort Wilderness in our 5th wheel trailer. I am somewhat overwhelmed by all of the ticket options. Here are our plans of things to do so far. We want to stay at FW for 11 nights. We wanted 7 days of the parks, and the remaining days spent at FW. That gives us three days of relaxing and sight-seing at FW, or whatever may come up.
We want one day at MGM
one day at Animal Kingdom
two days at Epcot
two days at Magic Kingdom
one day at one of the water parks
So, with this in mind, what do you all think about ticket selection ?

I guess what I am trying to say, is.....Do we need a 6 day, or 7 day ticket plan with the plus option added ? I am not sure I undersand the Plus option on the tickets.

The price difference is very small btwn a 6 and 7 day ticket, for a family of 4, the difference in a 10 and a 7 day ticket was less then $40 total. I imagine the differece for you will be <$20 I would get the longer, just in case...if nothing else on your rest days you can eat at the parks.

As for the options, get hopper if you want to go to more than one park a day. The other gives you water park, Disney Quest and such tickets. I day believe you get 3 or 4 (per person) for 6 day tickets and 5 for a 7 day park ticket.

I agree with the above poster, the price difference for us between an 8 day ticket and a 10 day ticket was $4 per ticket. I would get the longer ticket for the added flexibility. I also thinking hopping is well worth it. I don't know about the pluses--Will your family use them?

Thanks for the replies....As for us using the pluses..I am not quite sure. We do want to go the at least one of the waterparks, so do we need the pluses in order to do that ? Or, do you just buy a seperate ticket for the water parks ?
