Hi, my husband and I are going on our first adults only trip in Oct. I cant decide if we should do no meal plan, quick service or regular. We did have the regular meal plan last time and really enjoyed trying different places. I was thinking of booking 2 ADR s and paying OOP. SO I thought maybe do the quick service and the 2 OOP Big meals. Does anyone have any comments on the quick service is it a good value?

How many days are you staying?
What restaurants are you planning on paying OOP for?
Are the OOP places on or off property?

The meal plans are a good deal but it all depends on how you plan on using what you buy.... :)

The only way to tell which you would need is to do the hard math and see which one comes out saving you money.

Basicall go thru each restaurant you wish to go to, "pick" a meal you would get for everyone in your party, then add them up thru the entire vacation.
Do this for the QS plan, the reg DDP and then OOP. See which one you spend less on what you want to do.

That is the plan you go with.

Sorry there really isn't a way to tell which is best unless you do the math.

Good luck and happy eating!

The only way you'll save on the DDP as two adults is if you really want to eat a lot everyday - and clear your plate at every meal. And order a relatively expensive meal.

I would go through and decide what you want to eat everyday, mark down the ballpark figure for each restaurant, and then see if the dining plan is worth it.

We did the DDP once and had so much leftover food that we definitely spent more on the plan than we would have OOP.
