I liked Lorelei and Paige the best. Isabella, 9 times out of 10 becomes Izzy once they get a few years into school, whether you want it or not.

Lorelai -- Please don'y name your daughter after the GG! I too love that show, but I don't think it's a good idea long term.
Anabelle -- It reminds me of the Edgar Allen Poe poem.
Amelia -- She will be called Amelia Bedelia (sp?)
Gwyneth -- Too trendy
Paige is my second choice out of those names.
JMHO!I'm sure any name will be great for your baby girl!
I also like the names Olivia, Audrey, Grace and Ava.

love that my middle daughter is Kelsey Grace, and I kind of wished I would have named her Grace it just fits her personality.robinb said:Well ... I'm the only one to vote for the "traditional" name Margaret, LOL! I also like the name Amelia, but most of the names are too "popular" and "trendy" for my tastes. FWIW, I knew a woman named Loreli back in the late 70's.

robinb said:My test is: "Does President Firstname Lastname sound good?" That goes for both boys and girls. Although I have to admit that the name "Condoleezza" hasn't seemed to slow Dr. Rice down too much!

I mean, a name isnt the only thing that makes you successful, but you dont want her to have to add that to her list of things to overcome as she rises to the top!
