Help me decide on a dress

Alright so I went dress shopping today and I really need your help deciding between two:

Here is the first one, a Maggie Sottero for $850. It gives me amazing shape, has a pick up skirt that I love, great details and is just beautiful and elegant:






Ok here is the second one, a Oleg Cassini for 950 but I have a 150 gift card so its 800 I love this dress too, it is fun, youthfull and I just totally feel like a princess in it. This dress is very me, but it is not as elegant as the first one:

I absolutely adore dress #1!! I think you look beautiful in both, but in #1 you look amazing!

But, I think you should pick the dress you feel most comfortable in, and makes you feel like you on the best day of the world. Which ever dress you pick will be beautiful...

Hi there! Never visited this thread before but I stumbled in and just HAVE TO SAY...I love number 2!!! It's absolutely beautiful! Look at all that gorgeous tulle-ness!! Love it!

My vote is for number 1. It looks AMAZING on you. You do look very beautiful in number 2 as well. Pick whatever you feel most comfortable in, you cannot go wrong with either one

My vote is for number 2, which is odd because I don't normally like all that crenalin (sp?). But it compliments the classy horizontal pattern of the fitted part just perfectly and it does seem to be more you from the photos. The other dress had a beautiful flow, but I couldn't get past the fringe at the bust line - it looked like you had a napkin tucked in, or kind of like a doily (again, sp?)

But my DD8 votes for dress #1!

I really like you in number 2. I have seen MANY people try it on (I have frequented Davids for my wedding apperal and my sisters) and I haven't seen anyone look as good in it as you do!

Ok well I have a "practical" question, sorry to be such a bummer. What exactly are you planning to wear your dress at? What kind of event to you invision. Match your dress to your type of event, and then to the conditions (ie if it is a park wedding or not, if it is summer/winter) It looks like Ariels and the WP which are wonderful choices. Are you going to do MK photos? Are you going to have a dessert party....Just a few things to consider.

My vote is for #1. That's just more my taste. On the other hand, #2 is more of a "princess" gown...and since it's disney and all....
