help me decide..Hoop Dee Doo or Spirit of Aloha Dinner

I cannot decide which of these two dinners to do! I have seen Hoop Dee Doo before but the others that I will be traveling with have not and I wouldn't mind seeing it again (last time was 2000)

We are staying at The Poly so I thought it might be nice to do something at our Resort for dinner.

Help me decide...which should I pick...opinions please!!

We have done both shows and much preferred HDDR. We loved the food and got a kick out of the show. It was really nice to go to FW for something different. We also found that the seating was better.

Not to say that we didn't like SoA because we absolutely did. We just all agreed that HDDR was better for us and it's something we will do again but I doubt we would repeat SoA.

I've done both - would love to go back to HDDR and have NO desire to ever go back to the boring Luau again

Prefer the menu at HDDR over the other.

Definately HDDR. After about 10 minutes at the Luau you will be wondering why you came.

I think I like the Luau more than some of the PPs, but HDDR is much better. It's one we go to every couple of years.

Yet another vote for HDDR! We have done both and really enjoyed HDDR over
Spirit of Aloha. My DD's agree. They were probably 10 and 7 when we went. I think they got a little bored at the Spirit of Aloha. Truth be told so did I.

We haven't done the luau but my big fear with it is that it gets canceled for weather & then I'm stuck with no ADR & 2 TS credits to use. HDDR is rain or shine!

I suggest the HDDR and Ohana's. We enjoy both show, but enjoyed the HDDR show better then the luau show. If you are staying at the poly go for Ohana's with a big group - you'll love the food and the kid activities.
