Help me decide! BW or Riviera

Probably going to be the Riviera now after reading the comments, thanks for all your wonderful posts Amanda

That’s so great!! You really can not go wrong with this resort! There’s a ton of stuff on here for advice on the food, rooms, and other amenities if you need the info! We just stayed there about a month ago, so if you want our experience and stuff just PM me! :)

That is so nice of you, hmmm how do i PM you here,i am so not tech savvy...lol..i am on kik same name

The RIV rooms are gorgeous, but there are few food options and if the Skyliner goes down, the one transportation perk at the resort is non-existent. While I enjoyed our one stay there, we won't be back. I just really enjoy the ease of staying directly on the Boardwalk at the EP resorts. Walking to a multitude of restaurants and having a variety of transportation options just can't be beat, IMHO. I would book BWV.
I would argue that the best food options are actually at the Riv, not at the boardwalk. Both restaurants at the top of the Riv are as good as all but Yachtsmans IMO. And Primo is the best quick serve in WDW. And having some of Primo available at Bar Riva is great too. For the fun of the boardwalk, a quick skyliner trip over makes that possible.

Just click on the Circle above the persons name and there is an option to start a conversation. Then when they send one back your little envelope up on the top right will tell you have one back.

I also own at both. The big advantage of RIV right now is that it is still so new. Your rooms will be in top shape for the next few years. BWV on the other hand needs a refurb. Many of the rooms are very worn.

Just spent 6 nights in the Epcot area, 2 nights at BW ..... perhaps these photos taken from our balcony at BWV will help you with your decision. :)

We are DVC owners and have been renting points for years. This will be the first time in about 5 years I've been back. Planning a girls trip for 3 nights next June. We own BCV and VWL. Was thinking about trying something new. I need to make a decision by tomorrow as I'm hoping to get either of these on the 7th month window.

I LOVE the boardwalk area and all the options around the lake and walkability to Epcot and HS. However, never having stayed at Riviera, I'm curious. I read some reviews on TA and criticisms about the food at Riviera come up a lot.

Just wanted some opinions. Thanks so much!

The quickserve at Riviera is amazing, probably the best on resort. I do like both resorts and BW has advantage on walkability especially in summer with pop up storms and skyliner. The one advantage of Riviera in a studio if that's what you are looking at is the two showers/rr situation, a big advantage for a girls trip if you ask me.

I prefer Riviera! The resort is easier to get around and more compact. At BW, you might have a very long walk to your room but at Riviera, you are pretty much close to everything even if at the end of the hall. The rooms are newer and we like riding the skyliner.
