Help me cross Club 33 off bucket list?

The real giveaway in that ad is that he says he is willing to barter for AP's or park hoppers. A Club 33 member wouldn't need those things, so if he even does have access to the club, he is clearly not the member.

That and the "one time". Sounds like a connection, friend of a friend, or something.

Yes...they stayed in the Fairytale Suite at DLH! They said it was AMAZING. The carpet is made of real silk! It's directly next door to the concierge lounge and concierge is included. The suite is on the corner so there is an amazing view plus lots of cool gizmos. Apparently, when you enter the suite, Tinkerbell flies around magically lighting things up, including a crystal castle encased in the wall. There is a mirror in the bathroom that turns into a TV, a steam shower with a bench, and lots of remote-controlled thingies.

Just an FYI for others...the Fairytale Suite is not a bad deal IMO. I mean, it's pricey, but you get a lot for the money. If you go in off season it isn't too bad ($650/night) considering it includes concierge and is a signature suite. It isn't huge, though, and only has a king bed so that's why it isn't as much as the other suites.

It also has an awesome view of the fireworks.

Sorry to hijack the thread, OP!! I know what an amazing thing it is to get to go to Club 33 and truly hope everyone here will get a chance!!

Pixiewings, have a blast!!!! I'm so glad you get to go!!

Thank You :) I'm super excited!!
It would be another dream of mine to stay in the Fairytale Suite, but that's another dream. LOL :)

I was this.close. to having lunch at Club 33 this past April. I had my reservation, my plane tickets, my unabashed excitement...

Then my mother-in-law became ill 2 weeks before our scheduled trip. We had to cancel the reservation in order to be by her side, and she passed away a few days later. :rose::angel: I was a tiny bit disappointed to give up the reservation, but absolutely nothing would have kept me from her side those last days. I miss her so much.

We have not been able to secure reservations again. Ah well -- sometimes the beauty of a dream is in the dreaming!!

OP - My advice to you is to ask everyone single person you know if they have any connections to Club 33. Spread the word about your desire to eat there - you may just get hit with pixie dust! Good luck!

:grouphug: I'm so sorry for your loss

While it might be a total scam, the craigslist poster might have access to a corporate membership.

Yeah. I wholly agree. It just seems shady. I wouldn't bite.

I was very very very very lucky to get into Club 33 for mine and DH's anniversary a few years ago. VERY lucky. I never thought in a million years that I'd get to see the inside. We had to make our reservations several months in advance.
I hope your dream comes true, but I don't find it very likely to happen with such short notice and without having an "in" already. Sorry :-/

I will be at DL next Monday or Tuesday (9 and 10th), and would desperately love to get to eat at Club 33.
Just as a note, usually, you would be booking 1-2 mos out. Last Monday, the club wasn't seating in the trophy room, but the regular room was pretty full. A weeks notice really isn't enough, even if you had an in.

We were fortunate enough to go to Club 33 today and it was amazing! Ringing that bell and gaining entrance was special. The food, service, view and the ambiance was wonderful! We bought pins and a hat and will never forget the kindness of a friend who had a friend who was a member! I feel so lucky since we've wanted to go for over 20 years!!! So don't give up OP!

several years ago I thought I was actually finally going to be able to go...one of my "then" really good friends that I had been good friends with since her kids were in middle school (youngest is now 27)...she worked for a HUGE corporation and when she retired she had the option of going to Club 33...well she isnt a disney fanatic like me:rotfl: but she knew about it and knew how badly i wanted to go and she said she was going to go with that option but then when it came down to the wire she burst my bubble so bad and said she was just going to have it close to home...I actually cried because Ive been waiting my whole life for this (will be 47 this month) and Ive just resigned myself that I will probably never get in *sigh* but I am happy for those who can and I like hearing reviews and how no one seems to take it for granted and genuinely seem to appreciate it...so everyone who has an "in" congrats..the rest of us can just live vicariously through you:rotfl:

ok now before you give everybody a heart attack:rotfl:...what it is, if you book a VIP tour, you can request to have the option to dine at Club 33 but it is not guaranteed...in fact, if you want to be honest, I wonder how many people have actually gotten to do it...if it was that easy there would be less reason to buy membership :confused3...so you are paying $275 per hour (minimum 6 hours) during off peak season for no guarantee...uh i will pass *sigh*

I was thinking the same thing until I saw $275.00 an hour and a 6 hr. min. almost $1,700 I'll sadly pass :sad2: My trip alone is going to cost roughly $5,500 I just wouldn't be able to squeeze that amount :teacher:in as much as I would love to.
