I'm trying to book a last minute late October trip and can't decide on which resort to book. My options are Boardwalk Inn-garden view, Beach Club Resort-water view, Yacht Club-water view, or Grand Floridian-outer bldg, garden view. Hoping for a room with 2 queen beds. Of the four, I've only stayed at GF in an outer bldg, garden view. I'd love to hear any strong opinions anyone may have for choosing one over another, ones to avoid, etc. from their personal experiences. Thanks!

Depends on what your plans are, where you will be spending most of your time (EP/HS or MK), how much pool time you are planning. My first choice would be the BC, followed by the YC. Can’t beat the location within walking distance to two parks. The pool is second to none. Great dining options. A quick bus ride to MK. Relaxed vibe.
We actually don’t care for the GF. We find it too stuffy and unfriendly. It’s just not our thing. The BW would be great if it wasn’t for the creepy clown 🤡.

We will probably go to a different park each day of our 4 day stay. We've never used the pools, but might have to if staying at BC or YC. We spend most of our time in the parks and we usually have a longer stay booked, so I don't know if we'll have time for swimming. We have had 3 GF stays and do like it there.

They are all great. As PP noted, I would pick the resort area that will be most convenient for your park plans. If you will spend the most time in MK, pick GF. If you will spend most of your time in EP/DHS, I would pick whichever is cheapest between YC/BC and BWI. If YC, BC and BWI are the same price, I would probably be inclined to pick BC simply for its proximity to EP.

Does anyone have experience with the views available that I've listed?

GF is most expensive followed by BC, YC, and BWI respectively. $441 difference between most and least expensive.

BWI is our favorite. Before becoming snowbirds DW and I spent many vacations there. Always with a "standard view" which always turned out to be a garden view, sometimes with Epcot sights in the background. Once we had a fountain view and once a view of the quiet pool. If you look at the satellite view of the BWI most of the rooms have very nice garden views. My understanding is that most of the standard BWI rooms have two beds. A few of the rooms have kings.

I've never stayed BC or YC because the size of the pool was too intimidating for me with a young child, but love both BWI and GF. I think it's a totally different feeling at each though. GF is elegant and we had outer building garden view but lucked out and got a lagoon view with a great view of MK. It was so magical to see the fireworks at night and hear the entrance music every morning. BWI was also elegant in the day but at night was very lively unlike GF. I wasn't crazy about the pool at BWI, definitely less relaxing than at GF but my kids did love the slide. At BWI we had a garden view and I requested a large balcony overlooking the village green. This was amazing as it was basically a water view with the turn of your head and the balcony was huge, about half the size of the room. Only down side to this was it can be a little louder at night.

BWI - garden is my preferred view at that resort as it's generally quiet. I haven't stayed water view at BC, but have stayed water view at YC and it was spectacular. We were overlooking the lake area just to the right of the boat dock and could see the boats go by - really lovely.

We stayed at YC waterview last year for part of our trip. We loved it, except for the boat horn every morning. Sleeping in was not an option because of that.

Stayed at BC water view and loved it. We were lucky though that our room was close to the elevators (some water view rooms are a hike). We also had a Juliet balcony instead of a full one. Not a big deal for us, but if having a balcony is a must for you, I’d go with any of the others first. One great thing about BC is the easy walk from Epcot.

Also stayed at YC (not water view) and loved it even more...full balcony and much more peaceful vibe (BC’s lobby can get busy with Cape May right there).

Never been a fan of GF.
You can't go wrong with the other 3.
You don't say if you have kids with you. If you do I would do Beach Club. If no kids, then Yacht club or Boardwalk.
Personally, we love Boardwalk.

YC is my absolute favorite, it truly feels deluxe and the location is incredible. The rooms are beautiful, everything is in the same building, and the staff is incredible. We prefer it to the GF since Epcot area is truly the best location, and YC seems to have the best rooms of the three resorts there.
