Help Me Choose A Day To Visit

We are going to Florida for the first time in March. We are only doing one day at Disney, and it will be at MK. I notice that the hours change quite a bit from day to day, and I am trying to decide whether to add a day to our trip to take advantage of EMH, or just go on a different day. Tues, March 9, they show as being open til 9, vs Monday, when the park closes at 7. It would make sense, if I only have 1 day, to go on the day that it is open the longest, or is there something special going on that means crowds will be high and I should avoid it like the plague? If I can't do EMH, which day would be best, for the 1st week of March?

:bounce: Hi FayeW.
Apologies if I'm stating the obvious !
Are you staying in Disney property ? if not you won't be able to benefit from the Extra Magic Hour - and so I would avoid MK on those days.
For the later times (9pm etc) I would expect there to be Spectromagic and the Fireworks (Fantasy in the sky I think it's called), which might not be showing if the park closes at 7pm. I wouldn't expect the crowds to be noticeably busier at later closing times (unless Disney have something special on - but that will be advertised) but you may get people coming in early evening to view SM and FITS.
Also, check to see if there are any E-ride nights you can benefit from whilst you're there.
Hope this helps !:D

I am not staying on site, but have been thinking about adding an extra day and staying onsite for just that one day to take advantage of EMH.
