Help me add pics?

Can someone give me simple directions so I can add some more pics to my signature and make an avatar? I wanted to use jpegs saved on my computer. Keep it simple...

Well to start, you have to have the image saved somewhere on the internet, most on here use photobucket, its free. You upload you pics, and then when you want to post one, you right lick on image and then pick copy image location. Then you post your message or signature, and when you get to where you want it, click on the little icon on the top of the compose message window that looks like a post card and then more cursor into the place that says http:// and right click again and choose paste. That will give you the picture that you want.

How many times do we need to post in order to post pictures? I would love to share some camping pictures. I made sure we too lots of pictures in December.

I'm at 32 posts and I still can't, unless I am really doing it wrong. I have tried the photobucket several times. My posting rules say I may not post attachments.

I shouldn't be a problem, just follow the directions above. It should look some thing like this .... }IMG]http://www.wdwinfo.com/images/dreams-450aaa.jpg[/IMG{ with the square brackets on each end instead of the { I don't mess with the photobucket stuff. I post them on my site www.RvUsa.Org and then just right click them. I do know it is easier to right click in photobucket than to use their click on this code thing.

Nope won't let me yet. I can post the link but not the photo. Go figure. I'll keep trying. Thanks for your help. The picture I linked was our kids first camping trip last summer.

When using photobucket I've single "left" clicked the img code..and it will say copied..and then single right clip(pasting it) when editing the signature...using the CP at the left top of the page. You can click preview signature..and you should be able to see if it appears.

get rid of the first "http://"

make your command look EXACTLY like this, or just copy and paste this one:

the correct command will give you this:

I switched to this name and only have a couple of posts and I was able to post all my pics in my sig and avatar. Let me see if I can put a picture in the text...

Nope... lol said post count too low.... but sigs do work lol

Not quints. They're listed in my signature by age. I have quadruplets. My oldest is actually smaller than her brother so it looks like quints.
