Help? McDonalds Dog Promotion: #5 Border Collie

OK, we missed the McDonalds The Dog promotion for the only one we really wanted: the Border Collie (#5). He is black and white with the typical border collie markings.

Did anyone get one of these that is now lying around the house and needing a new home? I will happily pay for it!

Here's why:

Hmmmm.....I have not been to McD's during this promotion but I have to go to town tomorrow for an appointment. I'll swing thru McD's and see if I can find one...or two....or three! I would be happy to send if I find any....I'll get back to 'ya.

Anyone else have one to pass on??

I wanted to get the Chihuahua but could never find it. It took me forever to complete the Pixar collection. Woody was the last one I needed and finally got it the last day. From this collection, I got two Basset Hounds, 1 Siamese, 1 Somali, and 1 Persian. Noel got one Basset and the persian. I took one basset, the somali and the siamese. Anyone have an extra Chihuahua?

DD is asleep now, but I will check with her tomorrow to see what we have extra. I know we have several in the package that she thought she might be able to trade when others came in, but we've not done that so hopefully one will be the collie for you ! My DD takes it so personally when they don't have the one advertised or that she wanted - it drives me crazy! I keep saying I'm not taking her back when she gets irate, but alas, I always cave and back to McD's we go for more torture

I stopped into 2 McD's this morning and was told they only have cats this week. One told me that they would be receiving a shipment tomorrow that would be a "variety". He said the weeks of one or two types of cats or dogs was over and now they would be offering the variety they receive in tomorrow's shipment and there should be some of the #5 (or whatever anyone is looking for) given out as of tomorrow. He told me to come back tomorrow and they should be able to sell me whatever I want....as long as I get there while they still have them in the variety mix. Does that help anyone??

checked with hannah, she kept forgetting to look, but she finally did and couldn't find any dogs, just cats.

Did you ever get your Collie toy? I got a Happy Meal for a snack this afternoon and they are having that 2fer toy special. I got a Yorshire Terrier toy and it reminded me of your thread....
