We're planning a trip to California and we're planning on a few days at Disneyland - I'm trying to avoid Memorial Weekend so I need to decide if we should do our DL days before that weekend ( Tues May 25 - Friday May28) or at then end of our trip after Memorial Day (Tues June 1 - Friday June 4) Both fridays will be check out days so no parks on the fridays.

I'm thinking the May days will be better but wanted to make sure before I make ressies.

We're trying to decide between staying at the Grand or Dland hotel - :thumbsup2

Fantasmic will be opening up again May 28 and it seems likely World of Color will open in May.

The days that APs are not blocked out will be very crowded. See "Understanding AP Blockouts and Impact on Crowds" http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2365983

Thank you :) I checked and the days we can go are about the same reguardless if we go on the May days or June days. So now just to decide when and where to stay.

We decided on the May days - check in on May 25 and check out on May 28the and I booked a AAA room only rate at the Disneyland Hotel:thumbsup2 We LOVED the GC last trip but really wanted to try the original DL hotel - can't wait!!!

We're checking in on May 25th too! Here's hoping that the weekdays won't be too crowded from AP holders and that we can get a lot done before they start arriving after work! LOL! :-)
