HELP! May 2022 college gradutation trip-Epcot & DHS

Backgound - It's been 14 years since we've been to WDW as a family. My DD21 is graduating college and wants to go to Epcot for "Drink Around the World" with her sister (DD23) and I'm a SW fanatic (saw New Hope 10x the first week it came out way back in 1977) so I want to go to Galaxy's Edge. My hubby just wants to see us happy. We've decided to go before we go to Universal (we're all big thrill ride lovers & HP lovers). So I'm thinking May 2nd for Epcot and May 3rd for DHS. So here are the questions:

1. When should I get the tickets/park reservations? Should we get the Genie+?
2. Is it feasible to ride Rise of Resistance on a Tuesday if we're there at rope drop?
3. Will I need to make ADR for Epcot restaurants for my daughters?

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated! TIA

My ideas:
1. Park reservations haven't booked up very far in advance since last spring, and historically early May hasn't been exceedingly busy (and you'll miss May the Fourth in DHS), so as long as you keep an eye on the park pass availability calendar, you can probably wait until your plans are firm to buy tickets. But as soon as you get the tickets, I'd book your parks - no reason to wait then. As far as G+, your guess is as good as mine. Our DD is going this coming November, and we're going in January, and we're waiting to see what the reports are before deciding.

2. It probably would be, but May is quite a long time from now, and the effects of G+ and LLI are unknown. I'd watch reports here on DISboards. You can buy the LLI for Rise without paying for G+, I believe, so that would assure you a ride if you didn't want to do standby.

3. You should make ADRs for any table service restaurants they want. I don't think you can make ADRs for the lounges, and in May the Flower & Garden booths will be serving drinks too.
