My window opened this morning & when I got thru the CM told me my AAA reservation # was not valid  I gave her the reservation # off my paperwork AAA sent. She said I needed "special" one to be in the system. I'm sooo upset as of course AAA office is not open this early.

I'm certainly taken off guard by this!

I would call back right now and make today your ADR's for your 180 window. You don't need a reservation number. You can say you are staying off site.

That's because AAA applied its own reservation number to your ressie. They won't give you the Disney ressie number.

You don't need to give your reservation number to make ADRs, I never had to do it. If they ask, tell them your travel agent has not given it to you and just give them your arrival info and where you're staying. This should not be an issue.

I have a AAA package reservation and was able to make my ADR's this morning. On my AAA reservation slip there is a confirmation number - mine is 8 digits.

Hope you can find it. If not, you can still make your ADR's for the 180th day.

Same here, I also have an 8 digit confirmation number from AAA. I did have to give it to the CM when I made my ADR's. It was the first time I had to give it to them.

You do NOT need a confirmation number of any kind to make dining reservations. Otherwise, off site people and locals would never be able to dine at any Disney restaurant. The only reason that you would need a resort reservation number is to be able to make all your dining reservations with one phone call.

Just book the ADRs using your phone number. I always do that anyway because it's a lot easier to remember if I have to call back and make any changes.
