HELP! Location opinions needed!

Well I've decided to fore-go the inevitable headache of worrying about the cost that will be incurred by family members by inviting our extended families to our Disney Wedding (instead they'll be invited to our NY reception). Now our list will be 11 guests; 13 with Craig and myself. With that in mind, I'm not sure the Wedding Pavilion is worth the extra $800 so I'm starting to look at other options. I like Sunset Pointe as an option but I really can't tell from the pictures. If anyone cares to share what location they chose and why, I would really, REALLY appreciate the help. Again, we're having an Intimate Wedding so I'm also thinking the WP might just be too big. Help!

My DH and I chose the YC Gazebo because it was "us." It seemed really intimate by being a little gazebo that had shade and overlooked the beautiful lawns of the gorgeous resort. I loved how I had an aisle to walk up and how my guests were sitting there and the cake reception was off to the side of the lawn. I also thought the YC was more of a quiet resort and at the time of our wedding it really was calm and quiet. There was a little girl watching us from her balcony and I actually found that moment to be quite precious, it was really sweet. I know many people do not choose the YC but I thought it was the best and so romantic and beautiful

We chose the wedding pavilion. The deciding factor for me was the view of Cinderella's castle. We had very few disney elements in the wedding and the castle was one of them. The only other location for an intimate wedding that had that was Sunset Point but that just wasn't us. It has the beach and we are just not beach people. I was also afraid that Wp would be too big for just 9 guests, but i really didn't notice the size when i was in there. It also has a lot of really good spots for pictures. W/ the Wp ceremony, the cake cutting was at the GF which was ideal since we had our dinner there and my husband and I stayed there for our HM. I had originally wanted an outdoor wedding, but it is good that i chose an indoor because it rained all week. The weather cleared up briefly for our ceremony, so it may not have mattered except that I would have been a nervous wreck had we planned it for outdoors. My second choice was Sea Breeze Point but it didn't have the castle and i couldn't find enough pictures of it to really imagine our ceremony there. We were afraid the YC Gazebo would be too public and Sunrise Terrace was simply not our thing.

We loved Sea Breeze Point, being right on the water was beautiful. I loved walking the boardwalk in my wedding dress.

You make a lot of good points regarding an outdoor ceremony versus an indoor one. I guess we'll have to weigh all options and see what works best for us. If you don't mind my asking, I remember you saying you had dinner at Narcoosee in GF.So far we've narrowed our choices down to either there or California Grill. Were you able to select the menu with various choices for guests or did your guests order whatever they wanted? My DFH and I are trying to budget everything out. I hope I'm not asking too many questions!

Haha- ask away! I've heard that you can request specially printed menus with certain options and/or without printed prices but I did not know this in time to do it. I can tell you that the menus we had had Congratulations Mr & Mrs. Mitchell (meaning us) printed across the bottom which was a nice surprise and we kept a couple as souveniers
