HELP! Leaving tonight! But...

I'm not as sure as you are about your timeline. If your flight arrives at 945am I'm thinking you can be at the resort by 11. Even with picking up your tickets before a 4pm reservation, I don't think you have to leave the resort until 230 or 3. that's 3.5 to 4 hours to take in the resort, dip in the pool, or whatever. Worst case scenario, you get to RFC closer to 4 and leave the family there while you go across DS to get the tix. I wouldn't be so tense about it.

For future reference, "print at home" option does not mean you have to print the tickets right then. Usually you can't anyway - they are emailed as a PDF once payment has gone through. You can opt for "print at home" and print them whenever you want after you get that email.

Just be sure you know where you put them because only the first printing will scan legit - if you print again it will show as counterfeit,.
Yes. I've printed out movie tickets, boarding passes, etc. after the fact by using a link to do so in the confirmation email.

NOW she tells me!! Whoop whoop whoop nyuk nyuk:upsidedow:crazy:
lol

You have a few options here. You can try getting to Rainforest early and see if they will seat you then. Please keep in mind that even with a 4pm reservation you might not get seated right away. You can cancel and sign up for a Landry's Select membership card (small fee but you get points back) and you can walk up to Rainforest and get priority seating with no reservation. You can cancel and then see what places have walk up availability. You can have a snack before the show and have dinner afterwards. Change your reservation to a late lunch. I just checked and they have availability for a family of 4 at 2:30, 3 and 3:30. La Nouba is awesome so don't miss it.
We wont even get to the hotel until probably noon - if we are lucky and have a room , we'll at least want to shower but that sounds great if there's a 3pm rez- I'll check that. is it going to be a hassle to change the time this close to arrival?

But I'm a Taurus and we're control freaks!!!:scared:

Lol I hope you're right. I just saw on Disney's Magical Express info to allow at least 2 hours from the trip from time you land at the airport to getting to your hotel at WDW. That's why I figured noonish.

If you reserved through the Disney website you will need to make the change tonight or forfeit the cancellation fee. It is really easy to change on the phone app or online.

Sorry. It would be nice if they made it clear that you didn't have to print it the second you ordered them.
also if they made it clear that "express mail" actually means you'll get it "sometime before the end of the year" hahahaha:tilt:

El Paso >Phoenix>Chicago> Orlando

Its a longer flight with more layovers so yes, we leave tonight at like 9:30 and get to Orlando tomorrow morning at 10.
At first I planned to leave this morning (we usual leave the last day before Spring Break or summer break starts for the kids) but I'm bring my sons friend with us because he's never been to WDW and his mom was adamant he not miss school today.
SO when I checked Saturday flights the price difference between flying on a weekday and a Saturday was CRAZY- like 400- 500 bucks. And I'm the one paying for everything so I said hell no, and looked for a Friday evening flight as a compromise ; her son wont miss school, and I still get Friday prices. This was the only evening flight that was left and they only had 3 of those left so I had to take it.

I just hope you have perfect weather. If we get any storm activity, it could seriously hamper you. Best of weather to you!!

I checked and was able to change the rez to 3pm . Thanks for the info!

Hopefully, as one person already suggested, I might get to the hotel sooner than noon and they said we'd still have a couple hours to kill before we had to go to DS. So we shouldn't have to rush through dinner now

Ok Peeps!!!

Im off work at 5pm and its 4:50pm now...10 minutes and then I'm off to pick up a couple last minute things at the store; go home and load the suitcases in the car; spot-check the house (I hate coming home to a dirty house after a vacation lol); hug the dogs:dog::dog:; walk around the house and make sure everything is locked, closed, and turned off; get in the car-- wait for my son to run back in and grab whatever I KNOW he's going to forget; go pick up his friend...wait for the friend to run back in his house to grab whatever I know HE will forget; drive to the airport; park the car in Long Term; check in; get felt-up by TSA; get to our gate...
*breathe*
...Board the plane and we're OUTTAhere!!:yay:

Wish me luck!

For those who pray, pray God keeps the plane in the air both ways lol! I'm leaving behind my 2 year old:cutie: and I'd like to see her again lol!

Thanks for all the help!:lovestruc and for helping me waste a whole day at work hahaha:)

Glad I could help. Have a great trip!

If it helps, La Nouba is fantastic and definitely worth the hassle. Also, there are a ton fun things to do at Disney Springs. Good luck and have fun from a fellow Texas (Austin), who heads to Orlando a week after you:jumping1:

Not true. I live in Texas, and one of the flights we looked at was overnight. The layover was in Phoenix (Gotta love layovers that take you in the OPPOSITE direction of your destination!)
Texas is a big state. Its not THAT close to Florida. We're flying because it would take 23 hours to drive to Orlando. For comparison, I can drive to San Diego in 10.

Anyone can force an overnight by flying to the west coast, but like for DFW to MCO, it is a 2.5 hour flight. In air miles, y'all are pretty darn close :)
