Help! Last minute trip next week!

I should be very excited but now that I finally booked my airfare & hotel, I'm panicked about a trip next week. I've gone a few times to WDW & DL during spring break but never planned this late in the game. Just me and 2 of my DD's on this trip. I know it will be crazy busy but we're hoping to just take it easy and not be super organized (only because I don't have time to be )

My first of many questions is: the park tickets that I'm interested in are $199 for 3 day hopper. But what I really want is the 4 day hopper for $214 but it's blocked for use March 30th. Any chance I can purchase the 3 day and upgrade at the parks to add a 4th day for March 30th?

Also, last week I thought I saw a company that had 3 day hoppers for $181. Am I crazy because now I can't find it??

Willing to take advice on what I need to book ASAP...I think all dining reservations are probably out of the question at this point?? My daughters are older (15 & 11) and won't really want to do character meals anymore . so I don't need to stress about that part. Thoughts on other restaurants that may be available??

When I was booking my package, the agent told me of the discount tickets and I told her that I would need access to the park on 3/30 so I didn't think I could use htem. She put me on hold, called WDTC and verified as long as the bulk of my trip was BEFORE the 30th using it on that date would be fine. It just couldn't be the first date of use.

As for reservations if there are any places you for sure want to eat then call now because you likely can still get reservations for most (if not all) resteraunts.

Did you purchase your package with Disney? I just called my hotels ticket desk and she said that I wouldn't be able to use it on March 30th even if the bulk was used before. She said they'd be rejected at the entrance. Shoot, it will make a big difference on my park days and I hate to take the chance.

I bet you can still get dining reservations, you'll never know until you call so give them a ring! You will probably get lucky and get them.

As for the tickets, you can upgrade but you may lose the discount when you do this. You can do that at the ticket booths. Also, if they do reject them on the 30th you can always go to the booths to "upgrade" at that time, at least you should be able to upgrade at that time......I'm not sure exactly as we've never tried to use a hopper on a blackout day.

I booked through AAA and the travel agent called Walt Disney Travel Company directly (I witnessed the call I know it happened lol) to confirm and WDTC said it is okay.

Curious about updating a parkhopper from a 3 day to a 4 day while we are there if we change our mind. I am going to be purchasing ours on Ares for I think 194, would i just pay the difference at the park to upgrade if we decide too?

Yes, you would pay the difference between the gate price and the price you paid for the tickets.
