Help! Kindergarten registration

Tomorrow is kindergarten registration and I stupidly sent DD's care card (medical card) with her to my mom's house, a three hour drive from where I am. I just realized I need it for registration! Does anyone know if I'll need the actual card, or if they just need the number. My mom says she'll scan the card and email it to me, but I don't know if that will be good enough. I wouldn't be so worried, except that we're doing french immersion and it's hard to get into the school you want here. People line up two hours before the doors open in the morning. So I want to make sure we're not too low on the list. Help!

Here in Alberta I was ok with just the number. Privacy laws they shouldn't have a photocopy so if your mom scans it to you, you should be ok

Thanks! I posted this on facebook too, and had a few replies with everyone saying it should be okay. Phew! I can relax now!
