HELP! Kansas City DISers

Yes, you all have been SO helpful! DH is going to the Plaza his first night in town with the KUMC residents (Monday night). I don't fly in until Tuesday, but I told him that it's supposed to be neat, so he'll have to take me back there when I fly in!

Thanks again for all of your help, everyone! I'll let you know what we do when we come back!

Hello! I'm so sorry for the delay in updating this. We have been so busy getting ready for the next round of trips!

I carefully wrote down all the stuff we did while we were in town so I could share, and DH threw it away! I'll try to remember

The first two nights were spent on the Plaza. We ate at George Brett's both nights, because we LOVED it! The lights do look really neat. We stayed at the Hoilday Inn in North KC for 2 days of the trip, then after our STL portion we stayed at the Hyatt Crown Center. I didn't make it out to Arrowhead and Kauffman stadium, but those are places I definitely remember from my first few trips to the area.

The second portion of the trip I spent in and around the crown center. Call me a geek, but I spent FOREVER in the Hallmark Visitors Center! I loved it, and the people there were so friendly!

The last night we drove down to Arthur Bryant's but it was PACKED and we were just ready to sit down, so we drove back up to the North side and ate at Smokehouse. It was VERY tasty!

I did drive around some of the suburbs (Mission, Prairie Village, etc).... so thank you all for your leads!

Anyway, I'm glad you had a good trip. Let us know if you decide to move here and have some questions. I've lived in Mission, Prairie Village, and the Plaza area of Kansas City.
