HELP - JFK parking vs. Avistar Parking???Rates???

Hi - We're flying out of JFK and can't decide whether to use their long term lot or Avistar.

I've found some coupons/deals for Avistar but it still seems quite a bit more expensive than the airport parking.

I like the idea of parking outside of the airport but need to justify the extra cost to my DH

Can anyone confirm the rates at JFK ( I found a site that said $8/day). Also would love to hear any Avistar deals you've found. We'll be using it for 9 days.

The Entertainment book has coupons for 25% off at Avistar and if you go to the Avistar website(www.avistarparking.com) there are coupons for $12.95 or $13.95 per day. We always use Avistar and have been pleased with the service.
