When you are comparing, remember to consider
taxes-there are lots that are usually included in a
package. Also, airport transfers and the ease of
having it all done for you. Last, at some of the
all-inclusives, the inclusions vary from package to
package. IE., some include mini bars in the room,
some do not at the same hotel and some include
ALL restaurants while others only the buffet with
surcharges on the other more upscale eateries.
Be sure to check all of that before you decide what
is best. Alas, one must do lots of research prior
to plunking down their hard earned $$. A GOOD travel
agent can do all of that for you. A lazy
travel agent
will just try to sell you a package. I was a travel
agent for 29 years. The Moon Palace is beautiful.
Some package deals may not be available yet for June.
Charter companies are notoriously slow at setting
prices. I often recommend people wait til close to
travel time to book Cancun as there are often sales...
June is too high traffic to wait though. Apple Vacations
may have a deal that if you buy their protection plan,
you can take advantage of sales at the same property
if they come up. Ask your travel agent if any charter
company offers that type of guarantee. It might save
u mucho bucks at the end IF exactly what u have booked
goes on sale. Again, a good travel agent can watch
this for you.
