Help - Insurance claims with USPS

Of course, I just started selling on ebay again and my first sale arrived broken. (It was packed very well and really must have been thrown around!) Luckily I have another one and can send that one to the buyer. I did purchase insurance and the buyer is shipping the broken one back to me.

How do I go about filing a claim and what should I be prepared to have/do?

You need your original insurance receipt, the proof of value, receipt or email agreement between you two, and the form 1000 from the USPS. You will need your full name and address and their full name and address.
Unfortunately, even the best packed ones occasionally get roughed up by another package. Good luck!
