Wow! I didn't realize it took so much planning to go to disney. I just about have everything figured out but still coming up with some questions.

1. How far in advance do you have to make dining reservations?

2. Staying at SSR-what would be the best location to request and
in beginnig of December would it be warm enough for the pool or is the pool heated?

3. Also how is the bus system at the resort and how late do they run-I have tickets for the Christmas Party and they say that can last until midnight so wondering if the buses run that late.

4. Also is there a super walmart near or somewhere to pick up a few groceries before we get into the park.

Thanks in Advance for your help!!!!!

1) You can make most ADR's 180 days in advance

2) Depends on what you want ..... do you want to be close to pool and food court .... or do you want to have a view (like DTD) Pool is heated, but the days in December can be cool, if you're lucky you will get a few days in the high 70's

3) Buses run until the end of MVMCP

4) I've never gone to get groceries so someone else can help on this one ....

Have a great trip !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :goodvibes

Thank You. I would much rather have a wonderful view. Just 2 adults and it may even be to cold for the pool so I would rather have a view. Any suggestions on where to eat.

We like to buy groceries at the Publix that's down the road from the Catholic Shrine. There's a Winn Dixie on Vineland Apopka Rd. Both are pretty close to DTD.

Last Friday I was able to change some of our ADR's for December 18th and 19th, so it's not too late to get your dinner ressies. We like to eat at Le Cellier, The Princess Dinner at the Grand Floridian, and The Cape May Clambake at BC. Our other dinners at this time are Mexico, (Candlelight Processional Deal) and Hollywood and Vine (Fantasmic).

For dinner, just the 2 of us, we really like Artist Point at WL, but we're on the dining plan this time, and that would be 2 dinner coupons, and we didn't want to do that.

What sort of food do you like?

Bobbi

We are pretty plain eaters. Steak/Chicken/Ribs, potatoes on the higher end and on the lower end pizza/hamburgers.

Thanks for you help.
