Help in planning please

Going for a quick weekend trip (parks Friday thru Sunday) Columbus Day school break. Have a 3 day park hopper but want to visit all 4 parks. Backstory: Son (40) doesn't really like the crowds that Disney has so has been reluctant to take his 7 year old so this will be her first trip. She is adventureous and if her 13 year brother and 17 year sister (who have been many times with me) ride the ride she will also. Have tickets for the Halloween party on Friday, and hoping to do a private tour (basically to keep my son happy and not being a grump- least amount of time in line the better) Will be buying Genie+ and use ILL when available. But how do I get all the parks in since I can't hope until 2:00 if private tour is out?

Friday - Was thinking MK all day - with Halloween party that night

Either Saturday or Sunday - Private tour, if I get it, my original thought was to try to do Studios and the big rides a Epcot (Guardians/Frozen/Remy).

Day that we don't get private tour - The Epcot in the morning and AK in the afternoon.

Does that sound doable? I am really have a hard time with the planning on trying to get all 4 parks in. There are new rides in both Studios and Epcot that the old grandkids haven't ridden and everything will be new to the youngest.

If I can get a game plan then I can start thinking about restaurants.

We don't often go with extended family but I'd just make sure everyone is all in before you pay/plan. Just make sure that the rest of the family isn't going to bail the day of or say "I don't want to do that". Just to manage everyone's expectations. Just from what you mentioned, it sounds like you're going over and above so your son's not inconvenienced, so if push comes to shove, maybe you just leave him behind and just do grandkids. Some people aren't cut out for theme parks and that's ok. However, I wouldn't be ok missing my kids' first visit to WDW parks.

Overall, I think it's a good game plan. AK closes early so it might make more sense to start your day at AK and then hop to Epcot. For the private tour, I've never done one but have seen a few youtubers that have, I thought you could craft the day however you want so if you want to hit 4 parks, you can but I presume it's just more time/cost.

As far as the rest of what you have in mind, I think it sounds wonderful. I wish I had someone that wanted to take me on a private tour

If you’re doing the HP, do you really need a full day at MK before that? Done the Christmas party and lines were super short and you could get on pretty much anything you wanted. Could free up a lot of time for a different park.
