My best wishes for a healthy baby. At least with the short notice, it didn't give you an opprotunity to stress too much about it happening. By now, you could be holding your new baby in your arms.
I had to be induced with my ds, around 37 weeks. They did a scan the day before I had him and said he weighed around 8 pounds, that if he was born that day, he'd weigh 7 pounds 12 ounces or so. He was born less than a day later and was 8 pounds 12 ounces. For the first 24 hours, they had to treat him like a premie because of his gestational age. LOL! He looked full grown next to the term babies.
I remember cleaning and getting things ready in a frenzy the night before too. From nerves mostly.
You'll do fine. I can't wait to see a pic of your baby.
BTW, I heard all kinds of horror stories about being induced. Not one of them were true.
I had the same type of thing happen to me.....I went to the doctors for a check up and my blood presssure was really high. I mentioned that I had taken it earlier in the week and it was high too. Doc looks at me and says well, your having the baby today, head right over to the hospital! I was shocked! Ended up having a C-section but that's a whole different story!
I hope all went well and your little ones here safe and sound and your both resting by now!
Hey, luv, hope everything went OK!
(My niece had her baby girl last night! 6 lbs, 1 oz, 19" long! Yup - born on Friday the thirteenth! My brother is in Louisiana - she is here in Northern California, so we're on orders from him to go to the hosp!)
