Help!! I think I'm starting to mildew!!!

I know how you feel we had rain for 2 weeks straight here then last friday it broke away and we have had sunshine ever since! I was begining to wonder if I should start to work on an ark LOL

I'd like some too. I went to a part of Richmond called Carytown yesterday and went window shopping in the rain....I got to the point that i didn't even care that I was getting soaking wet.

We actually got a little sunshine yesterday KT. It was quite the surprise I actually got to put on my sunglasses while I was driving.

Right there with you KT. Although, I did see a bright golden light in the sky yesterday for a little while. Right around 4:30 or so. For about 2 hours. I was not sure what it was, but someone on the radio said it was the SUN.

DS's B-Day Party is Sunday, so overcast would be fine, but I would REALLY like for there to be no water coming from the sky.

I just heard on the news that the last time we had a sunny weekend was sometime in March.

I am sick of in. It is almost June and I am still in jeans and sweatshirts. We should have the shorts out by now.

We have a little glimmer of the sun right now but I think if I blink it will disappear. The sky is pretty dark in some spots but the sun is trying. I think it is going to lose the battle though. All this rain is depressing! I need some sunshine. Ok, I would just settle for some dry weather.

Yesterday around 4 p.m. DS said, "Look, the sun's out."
I looked hopefully out the window and was forced to respond, "No, it isn't".
He came back with, "Well, it's obscured behind a thinner layer of clouds than it usually is!"

Within a half hour, we were having thunder, lightning, torrential downpours, and hail.

We may not survive in WDW next week. I don't know if I can function in temps above 70!

I wish I could exchange a little of our sunshine for your rain. We are already behind here although we got almost 3/4 inch yesterday Monday morning. We need more rain before going into the summer.

It was hot as hec here yesterday.. I miss the cooler weather already.. I am a big fan of 70 degrees, sunny with a good stiff breeze!

I promise the sun will be shining soon.. I am sending it as fast as the currents will allow!

Here's an article from the Washington Post today pointing out that it's been a full MONTH since we've had a sunny day here in the nation's capital. At least our two-year-long drought is now officially over.
