Welcome to WISH!

After you've had a bit to look around, might I suggest that you come here to post often. It is a great way to remain motivated.

Do your best to try not thinking of things using that "D" word. Give yourself the choices of making a healthy lifestyle and off ya go!

:cheer2:

Thank you everyone...

I do have one big questions.. what do you guys eat say at work when you dont have time to take a lunch break ?

Do you bring a lunch from home or buy it at work. I have a 25 minute lunch break @ work, so not much time to eat and relax. I bring usually 1 cup of Fiber 1 cereal, half a cup of fruit for on top, water and a sugar free jello. Other days I will bring yogurt, fruit, water and sugar free jello. I'm not much into sandwhiches and such. Good luck!

:welcome:

I just bought Slim Fast optima meal on the go bars. I had been eating Quaker chewy granola bars for breakfast as a grab and go option. So this was a bit more filling and more vitamins etc. They are supposed to help fight hunger for 4 hours.

My problem with lunch is big too. I don't have a fridge and I'm on the go in my car all day so it has to be something reasonably healthy over fast food. These can fit in my scrub pockets and I can eat between clients. I'll be looking at lunch boxes with cooler packs that might help. But even then in 110 temps we have here in Arizona it will melt the icepack FAST.

I have one word for you.... CURVES!!! It has been AMAZING for me and A LOT of other women I know!!!

The ONLY plan that has ever worked for me. I have heart problems so I have to maintain my weight and boost my stamina. This exercise program helps you firm and tone AND lose body fat in a SAFE way using resistance training. They should have a club in your area. VERY afforable and NO 2 year contracts to get stuck in. I have lost a total of 6 lbs in one month and 3% of my body fat. 3 days a week ..... 30 minutes

Thanks everyone for the ideas!!! I try to bring my lunch everyday, I dont have time to stop and buy my lunch. I normally end up leaving one office around 1:15 or 1:20 to get to the next office which is about a 15 min drive for my next patient to be at 1:30

I always bring my lunch. A bag of carrots and string beans are easy to eat while you're working. I also eat the Cottage cheese doubles and a yogurt.
And I'm a huge fan of dry Life cereal. They're great for breakfast or as a snack.

Good luck!! :wizard:

Everyone has given you great ideas about lunch. I work in HR and a lot of timess have interviews over the lunch period so I don't always get to sit and eat like a human. I keep cans of tuna, oatmeal, and soup in my drawer. I also bring in yougart, diet jello, carrots, celery, lettuce with me every day. I also don't go more then 3 to 4 (waking) hours without eating something. A piece of fruit, a veggie, etc. This way I'm not STARVING when it' meal time and I don't overeat.

Thanks guys for lunch lately i have been bringing grapes and plums anything like that i could eat very fast and on the move is great for me now!!!
