I have always been a night owl and lately I am bored to death between 10PM and 2am when the rest of the family is sound asleep. Of course, at that time of the night, I am limited to what I can do.
I love to cook but banging pots and pans around at that hour tends to wake people up. I am bored with the computer and tv.
I love to read but I tend to read some pretty intense books. I found reading them at night interferes with my sleep so I save those for daytime hours.
I am not an arts & craft type person. No needlepoint or scrapbook projects for me.
My interests include writing, reading, playing chess on the computer, murder mystery books and TV shows but I just feel tired of those things lately.
I would love to hear any other ideas or new directions. Going to bed early isn't an option. I have long given up the idea of falling asleep before 2:30am.

But the kids are up at 7, so watcha going to do?

We always joke that we won't have to worry about him partying when he goes away to college. DD and I are up between 8am and 8:30. DS is up at 6:30am.
I take them around 10:30-10:45 pm and I even have a nap around 3-5 and have NO problem going to sleep...zzzzzzz...........
