This is the first care package I have sent... I have one packed in a Hammermill paper box and another in a Reebox shoebox... How do I get them ready to ship? Do I need to wrap them or just cover them enough to put an address on?
Thanks!

If you go to the post office they will give you free priority mail boxes to mail your care package. This is will take care of the problem and you won't have to take a magic marker and mark out all of the print on the boxes you have the things now.

I used priority mail also. Their boxes are nice and sturdy. Before I figured this out, I was going to use a shoe box and cover it with brown paper and package tape. But the priority mail box worked wonderful. They are available at the post office. I've used size #7.

Do they cost? Do you just go in and ask for one?
Thanks!

Yes, just go into the post office and ask for one (or as many as you need). There isn't a cost up front -- it's part of the cost of sending priority mail.

They are free. Just go to the counter and ask for some of their priority mail boxes. There are several different sizes available and they are free. They can also give you free mailing labels, just for the asking.

The Priority boxes are free from the post office. You can even order them online. :)
