Help, I got on and I can't stop!

I spend hours on the boards too! DH is always teasing me, that I am neglecting him & our fur babies. They would have to grow mouse ears for me to notice them (not true, but couldn't hurt )

I always thought people who chatted on the internet were nutjobs.
I discovered the DISboards in September 07. I was content on just reading the info and looking at the pictures. Then I made the fatal mistake of clicking on the discussion forums button! I have been on line every day since. Now I know not everyone is a nutjob.

It's official at my house. I am addicted. Have been since last September planning for our trip this September. My family teases me about "the boards" and what I will do with my time after the trip....of course there is next years trip

Let's see, am I addicted to the DIS? DEFINITELY! I usually keep the DIS up while I'm at work, then read or post when I get a chance. If I DIS at home, I end up feeling guilty for ignoring my kids. I've also discovered that when I do DIS at home, nobody gets any dinner, the kids don't get their baths, the house doesn't get cleaned, the laundry doesn't get done . . . I also have to sneak & DIS when DH isn't around, b/c he makes so much fun of me.

I always said that I would never post on any message boards, but here I am. I swear that when I first log on to the DIS, I can't faintly hear the Eagles in the background - "You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave . . ."

I've been getting alot of grief from my family for all the time I'm spending on the DIS.

I tell them that they'll be praising me when our trip goes extra smooth and we have a wonderful time.

The board is way too addicting and I'll have to come up with another reason why I'd be visiting it when our trip is over.

Hi my name is Sonya and I am too addicted to the Dis. I sit here with shoes tossed everywhere and my kids playing outside and a dirty kitchen and I can't get up. My husband is deployed so I have no one to make me feel guilty.

Hi, I'm Anastasia and I...love...the DIS. I mean, Disney, I love DISNEY! Geez. Yup, was on till 4am last night. I found the site yesterday, because I heard someone on the radio refer to MGM as 'Hollywood Studios' and was totally convinced they had said the name wrong! Googled it and (insert theme to Jaws)...got totally sucked in to these boards. I was (am) elated to know I'm not the only one out there obsessed with WDW and *planning* for WDW...even when the trip is a year away! MY PEOPLE!!

My husband just set up our new fitness room and there's no TV yet and I was thinking, what am I going to do to distract myself from the elliptical without a TV? Immediately, I thought - OH! I'll download the DIS Podacsts!! Yeah, it's over. I'm hooked.
