Hello! We are staying 3 days with 2 park hopper days. We are also going moonlight magic. Our options are:
Day 1. Arrive on property by 9-10am and do Disney springs and relax
Day 2- full park day day and Epcot extended evening
Day 3- full park day and then DAK moonlight magic

Or:

Day 1 - arrive between 9-10 and and go to the park for the day
Day 2 - full park day and Epcot extended evening
Day 3 - relax, Disney springs, animal kingdom moonlight magic.

Thanks for suggestions!

I would say option one because that’s exactly what I plan to do my first day. I’m not sure how you’re traveling but I’m flying in and I’m always out of it after a flight

Keep in mind that Animal Kingdom closes at around 6pm if you are doing the April MM date so your park day elsewhere will be short. If you like evenings in the parks, then chose your second option, giving you 2 full days/nights plus the evening at AK.

We just did our 1st ever event, the Jan Epcot Moonlight Magic event. We did your relax the day of option and that worked out great for us. Not sure we would have lasted the whole night if we were pounding the parks early that day. We got to the park around 5, checked in at 530, found a place to sit and review the materials and planned what we can use our 3 snack credits on. Hit up some of the pavilions to grab some food and then hit the rides. Rides were practically a walk on with guardians maybe taking us 15-20 mins to get through the queue. There was a special dvc fireworks show @ 11 which we totally enjoyed. You can get a lot of attractions done before the 1 am close.

Did they say that you could get in the park 2 hours before the party? That’s what people have said about MM but I haven’t seen any hours released yet. I did switch to the plan with relax time before the party. We will be at Epcot late the night before so will definitely need it!

Yes, a day or 2 before the event, we received additional information including how early we could enter the park without a ticket and check in. For our event, 10pm - 1am with an early entry & check in without a park ticket at 7pm. If you had a park ticket, you can check in as early as 5pm. Hope you have a great time!
