We were orginally booked for AKL from November 7-12 and now added another day so that means more meals to plan. It's just me & DH that will be going and I am trying not making go,go,go vacation. Here's my plan so far and maybe someone can recommend some places for us. FYI: I can't have seafood and I am not crazy about weird food.
Mon: Arrive
6:20pm Olivia's (on wait list for Ohana's)
Tues: Magic Kingdom
8:05am CRT
1pm The Plaza
5:25pm Whispering Canyon Cafe
Wed: Epcot
8:25am Princess Storybook
1pm Rose & crown
7pm Via Napoli
Thursday: AK
Sunrise Safari
1:30pm Yak & Yeti
Supper ????
Friday: HS
Breakfast: room service
1:05pm 50"s prime time
7:30pm Si Fi
Sat: ?
8am Boma's
Grand Floridian Cafe
Supper ?
Sun: Leave AKL around 5pm
Breakfast: thinking 1900 Park Fare
Lunch: ??

If someone thinks of any ideas, I am open to EVERYTHING

I have a question. What do you mean "waitlist at Ohana"?

Some places we love are San Angel Inn, Whispering Canyon Cafe and Crystal Palace.

Supper ???? How about Sanaa at your resort? Even though some of the menu items are more adventurous, it also has some simple-sounding choices such as NY strip and beef short ribs.

Just curious are you on the dining plan?

DH and I really enjoyed Narcoossee's. Wonderful to see the fireworks and their almond crusted cheesecake is worth the trip alone! :) Oh, I'd love to have that again! We had great steaks. Everything was tasty. Fireworks over the water. Romantic.

We also enjoyed California Grill. I don't like weird food either, and they did have some, but they also had recognizable dishes too. :) Everything was done well, great food, and we also saw the fireworks from our table there too. You can also view the fireworks from the observation deck there too.

We have had some good meals at the Grand Floridian Cafe. I think you'll really like it.

Let us know what you decide!

For the Thursday dinner, how about going to POR to eat and then catch some of Bob Jackson's show in the lounge? I am not a fan of spicy food but had a pretty good dinner at Boatwrights with beef tenderloins and pasta in a white cheddar cheese sauce. Or just eat at the CS there; I understand the make-your-own pasta option is unique.

For your last dinner on Saturday, how about a Signature? Artist Point or Yachtsman? Or if you want to stick with 1 TS credit, either Biergarten or Captain's Grill?

For Sunday, 1900 PF breakfast is OK, but if you're going to be in the MK area I'd either go to CP for the characters or to The Wave for a more 'adult' buffet (they offer both menu and buffet, I believe). For lunch I think I'd leave it open for a CS meal, unless you are positive which park you are going to for those final few hours.

Kona Cafe is wonderful. We haven't had a bad meal there. All very good. Attentive staff. Also love the Captain's Grill at the Poly for a quick meal. Nice selection. Good food.

They have me on a "arrangements requested" for Ohana's. They will check everyday to see if a table opens up. And we are already going to Whispering Canyon.

I am thinking that since we really want to see the Grand Floridian, we may just have breakfast at 1900 Park fare and cancel lunch on Sat. This would open up 2 days to see things we didn't see. Yes, we are on the Deluxe Dining Plan. I really wish we didn't have to plan meals so far out.

Will I be able to see IllumiNations from the Yachtsman?

There is a 7:50p.m. & a 9:15 p.m. time open at Ohana for Nov. 7th for 2 people.

& Thurs Nov 10th a 9:20p.m.

We love LeCellier, Yauchmann Steakhouse & Teppon Edo also.

And Tusker House Safari breakfast is awesome!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! I had gone in there to check for a dining reservations at Ohana's for 'dinner' and it was only showing (9:15) and I didn't want to eat that late. But when I say your post I put in 7pm and it showed up. Thanks again. I will be able to watch Wishes from there
