We will be staying at Cypress Pointe in August and going to Universal, Seaworld/Discovery Cove. Approximately how long( or how far) will it take us to get to these parks? We will have our own car. We have always gone to WDW and stayed on-site. Thanks for the help.

It's VERY easy to get to Universal and/or SeaWorld from Cypress Pointe; you don't even have to get on the interstate! If you're at Cypress Pointe*, make a left out of the entrance, go to the end of the street and make a right (I can't remember the name of that street) follow to the stop sign and make a left on to Palm Parkway. Just follow Palm Parkway (it will change names to Turkey Lake Road) all the way up and Universal Studios will be on your right.

Sea World is even closer. Follow Palm Parkway to Central Florida Parkway and make a right. Go straight on CFP and Sea World will be on your left, Discovery Cove on your right.

*If you're at Cypress Pointe Grand Villas make a right out of the entrance.

Your trip should be less than 15 minutes to either Universal or Sea World.

Have a great trip!

We drove up to Universal from Windsor Hills this year and forom Emerald Island the past 2 years (Route 192, Irlo Bronson). We always use the interstate (I-4) and it takes about 15 minutes. Signs are well marked -- you cannot get lost!

Only once was there traffic on I-4 which added another 5-10 mins.

We'll have to try Figment's directions next year!
