Someone kick me in the butt real good! I have gotten so off track and it's getting very hard to get back into the swing of things...I've gained some weight back...not alot..but some.

I need some encouraging, but tough words here.

I think the vast majority of us go through this at one time or another. I know I have gotten way off track with my Weight Watchers. It really gets tiresome weighing, measuring, and counting points. I gained back more than 10 pounds and had to give back my 50 pound clippie. I joined the Mother's Day Challenge last week and that has really helped me stay focused this week. I also am coming to the WISH board more often to read posts. I find that when I don't come to this board, I am more inclined to stay off plan. Try to take it one step at a time. You CAN do this! You've worked too hard to get the weight off. Good luck!:)
 
Hi Nancy!

First I want to commend you picking yourself up and getting back on the wagon. We often say we "fall off the wagon" but I like how they say it on another board I frequent. They say you never fall off the wagon but you jump off :hyper:. Whichever was the case with you, you are back and that is all that matters.

I've got no tough words for you but I will give you a piece of advice. You have to decide how bad you want it. Again, another idea from that other board. Do you kinda want to lose the weight or do you really really want to lose it. If you decide it's truly what you really want and you are willing to put forth whatever effort is required to make it happen and I know you can do that!

Coming here and posting, joining a challenge, even journaling is so helpful to keep you on track. I also like making a list of things I'm going to do each day to help me achieve my goal. I look at it this way. I know what I want - weight loss success - so I work backwards and see what I need to do to get to that place. I take the top five things each day I'm going to do to help me reach my goal and then I take things one day at a time. I don't have to be "cheat free" or eat on plan for the next 365+ days, I only have to do it today. That mentality has helped me complete my first 100 day cheat free challenge and I am 30 days into my second cheat free challenge.

One day at a time, that's all we have to do. I know you can be successful this time around because I bet you want it bad!!!!! :hug:
 
I think one of the reasons I got so off track is because I stopped going to meetings to save money...the old "I know what I have to do so why should I spend the money" I stopped journaling, I hardly ever go to WW on line. And then yesterday DH asked if I was still doing WW, because the way I've been eating lately it sure didn't look like it. So everyday i tell myself "this is the day i get back on track" yet I don't.


I want to lose the weight...I want it so bad not to look better, but to feel better. Easter is the time of renewal...it is the time for me to renew my committment to WW.

Nancy! Get back on track!! You look fantastic and I know you can continue to do this! Just think how great you feel when you put on that smaller size. You've done much better than me and you've been so much more motivated. I know it's tough and sometimes you just get sick of doing it, but it's so worth it. Good luck!!:teeth:
 
Hi Barb...long time no see! I am back on track as of this morning. I was really bad the last 3 days and today i feel very sick and just plain yucky...so i can't do that anymore. PLUS I only have 1 month to lose 10 pounds before I see you again.
 
Nancy! You can do this! Look how successful you have been. Focus on "right now" and forget about the past. One day at a time, my friend, <i>one day at a time</i>.

You can do this, we're going to help you.
