HELP !! Heading "home" for the 1st time !!!

hi, we just closed a few months ago on our AKV. a few girlfriends & myself will be heading down in may, its my first time "home" and i'm nervous cause my DH usually handles everything. will i be checking in right at the regular desk & what are the odds of getting into a room early, we'll prolly be there around 11-ish. any help or advice will be greatly appreciated !!!

A lot will depend on the resort you are going to. AKV right now is small so whether a room is ready at that time is a guess. It never hurts to ask though.
