Help from ANYONE who has been during Christmas..

I would greatly appreciate it if anyone who has visited HR or Portofino during the time between Christmas and New Years has ever gotten any kind of discount at all on the room rate. The standard rate is $309 per night and before i try to talk myself into paying that, I would like to know if there is ANY hope at all for a lower rate. Thanks much.

This past Christmas we went the week between Christmas and New Years, and we were quoted $250/night for HRH. I think it was the Fan Club rate, but don't remember for sure. I know it wasn't the Entertainment rate because they didn't have it for when we were going. We ended up staying off site because we didn't want to pay that much.

I checked HotelKingdom.com also but couldn't find anything lower than $250.
