Hello I've posted in the disbility thread before but usually about Diabetes. Because i've read many of the threads I know ya'll are full of excellent advice. I am a 3rd and 4th grade teacher at a very small private christian school. I have a student that has been just recently diagnosed with ADHD a anxiety disorder and they also think high functioning Autism but are not sure yet about that. The only suggestion for the classroom they could give me is to make a picture chart of what he has to do and have him check it off when he finishes. Right now I'm having a hard time just getting him to sharpen his pencils much less getting any classwork done. I have organized his desk and I write his homework down daily. If anybody would be willing to share what works for their child I would appreciate it. We do nothave special ed teachers or assitants so I'm on my own. Thanks for any help.
