Help for newbies

We just purchased an older class A, 1989 30 ft, motorhome. I am booking ressies at the Ft. and need to know should I book full hook up or premium site. Both are available. Would like to be close to bathhouse since my teenager likes to take 20 minute showers and that won't make it in the MH. Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

Given its size it will fit well on a Full hookup. There are 4 sites (in order of increasing costs): Tent/Partial, Full, Preferred, Premium. They all have the same services except Tent/Partial has no sewer hookup.

There are two easy ways you can request close to a Comfort Station. The first is to call and add a note to that effect on your ressie (if you made it on-line) or include the note if you are making your ressie over the phone. The second way is when you get an email about 10 days before arrival inviting you to check-in early, you can use that opportunity because there is a section where you can indicate preferences (specific loop, close to CS, close to bus stop, etc.). I believe you can also go online with your ressie and check in earler than the 10-day interval.

The Comfort Stations at the Fort are the best I've ever encountered. Have fun on your trip!

I'd agree with Bama Ed as I usually do! We put our 38' motorhome on a Full hookup site for most of our stays and it works quite well. Be aware that the 1600-1900 (Full hookup sites) loops are quite distant from the Settlement area and the boat docks. Enjoy!

Thanks for all the help. Since I wanted to add days I went with the premium site since I could get that for the extra days. When we are there we will check out sites for future trips.
