Ha, me too. I have two of these, started out with the original Relief Band, then I forgot it one trip and bought the Emeterm once I got there because it was cheaper. I think they work equally well, but I prefer the Relief Band because I like the wristband *significantly* better. The wristband on the Emeterm is difficult to put on with one hand IMO and I frequently worry that it's going to pop off (although it never has). The Relief Band has the option of a traditional watch-style strap, which is what I prefer. Pricier, though.
For anyone who doesn't know, the Emeterm band and the Relief Band are electronic, not just pressure point bands. They send little electric impulses up your arm which helps somehow. Feeling is very much like a TENS unit if anyone has used those for physical therapy or pain relief.
I have really bad motion sickness. The only things I can't do with the Relief Band/Emeterm that I know of are GOTG and Space. I used to be able to do GOTG when it was TOT, but when they changed the ride sequences for GOTG, I wasn't able to do it anymore even with the band. Thought I was going to lose it on Space even with the band.
I can do Star Tours no problem, although I do close my eyes briefly for some of the scenes. I always try to get a seat near the middle of the row. I ended up near the back on the very end on my last trip and found I was having to close my eyes much more frequently. I also haven't tried Smugglers Run. I intended to on my last trip, but my daughter and husband said no way (they love it but thought I shouldn't risk it).
On my last trip, I also got some prescription scopolamine patches because I wanted to try them on the airplane. They also worked well. I liked them because they last for 3 days and they didn't make me drowsy like the pills, although drowsiness is listed as a side effect. I was able to do Indy, Cars and most things with just the patch, but I added my wristband for Star Tours and BTMRR and a couple others out of an abundance of caution.
