Help!!! First-timer's Mediterranean cruise

. . . Do you know a safe, good parking spot, where we could park our car for 7 days? We're a little afraid of letting our car alone for a week.
Guten tag, Anubis7.

There are two secure long term parking lots with special rates for cruise passengers. Link: Long term parking Click through to get to get here: Link: Cruise parking

If you are joining a cruise ship from the city of Barcelona, or travelling by car, you can park your vehicle in complete security at the best rates. By registering yourself as a cruise ship passenger or saying you have seen this offer on our web site. you can enjoy our most advantageous rates at the Parc de Recerca Biomèdica and Litoral Port car parks.

Before removing your vehicle, you will need to go the automatic payment machine and pay just €39,80 for stay from 1 to 5 days and €7,50 for additional day for longer stays.

Guten Tag to you, woody!
Thanks for the links, they are exactly, what I was looking for.
And another question. Where is the desk located, where you can book a dummy cruise and what are its operating times? I heard, that they're only open for a few hours a day.
Thanks in advance,
Greetings,
Anubis7

The future cruise sales desk is on Deck 4, Midship. The hours will be posted at the desk and in the Personal Navigator. Hours vary, but on sea days, hours are generally 10-noon, 3-6 pm, and 7:30-8:30 pm.

Hi again!
Now that the cruise is almost there, I have another bunch of questions.
1. We're probably staying at the ship at most ports, since we don't live far away from these cities and think that one day is just too little. Are there enough activities in the ship while it is at a port? Except for seeing movies in the theatres?
2. What are good Disney shops aboard the ship? I read something about t-shirts with the itinery on them. Where can we find them?
Thanks in advance,
Greetings,

1. There are certainly less activities on port days, but the spa has specials and there are movies in the theatre.

2. There are two stores beside the Walt Disney Theatre(Deck 4 forward) and one smaller one(Deck 3 aft)

You can look here for Med Navigators for a sampling of what may be available onboard during port days.

In port, the shops onboard are not open. And there's only 2 on the Magic, it won't take you long to find which one has the t shirts (probably Treasure Ketch).

The stores are not open while the ship is in port due to regulations so you will not be able to shop while in port. There generally is something going on the ship while in port for those who stay on board. We have not done this during our Med cruises but while we were in Nassa. You may want to see if there are any Navagators posted from the 7 day med cruise this year which will show what they have been offering.
Enjoy your trip!

There will likely be shirts in both shops. Treasure Ketch will usually have adult only designs and Mickey's Mates will have the more family style - cartoony art with adult and kids sizes.

Treasure ketch had the Greece and Venice specific shirts. Mickeys mates had general DCL apparel. Treasure ketch had some general DCL apparel, too.

Hi there!!
Thanks a lot for your answers, they're quite helpfull!
However, I have a few questions remaining:
1. Since we're mostly staying at the ship I wanted to know, how the food works durig lunch and breakfast time. Can we just walk in to Animator's Palate at lunch, or do we have to book something in advance?
2. I read something about Walt Disney theatre backstage tours, which I would love to take, since the WD theatre reminds me of the beautifull El Capitan theatre in Hollywood. Do you know if they're still available, where I could book it and how much it would cost?
Thanks in advance

You do not need to reserve anything in advance for breakfast and lunch. Each day's Navigator will list the restaurants that will be open and their operating hours. On the Magic, breakfast and lunch options will usually include Topsider's and Parrot Cay for buffets and Lumiere's for sit-down service. You just need to show up at any time the restaurant is open. You may be asked for your Key to the World card at the main dining rooms, though I haven't figured out if that actually affects your seating location. I know you probably won't get your "evening" table.

On our 7- night Med cruise in June, I did not see any mentions of theater tours, so I do not know if those still take place. If they do, they will noted in the Navigator, and possibly in the flyer you receive at check in.

I've never been asked for my KTTW card but they do ask for your room number. It's nothing to do with your seating location but with any allergies or notes on your file re food so that they know in advance to let your server know that. They print out a ticket to give to the server and I think it's printed on that if you have any food issues. If they ask for your KTTW it's probably just to scan it to get your room number and/or access your file for the same information.

Hi there! Thanks for your help.
I'm sorry that I was silent the last couple of days, however my parents told me, that we're not going to take the cruise, oh well. . .
I hope everyone is going to a have a MAGICal cruise and a wonderful experience.
And thanks to every single one, who answered my questions.
Greetings,
Anubis7
