I want to thank everyone who helped with my DS screwy math homework! Like some of the posters figured out, there was a problem on the work sheet. The teacher wasn't aware until I went to speak with her this afternoon. I told her I was cursing her this weekend. I probably would have been okay with the last ones if I hadn't been so frustrated with the wrong one.
Anyway, again, thanks for all of the help! DS now understands all of the problems and the key words to work them out!
My DS has a worksheet of extra credit math and we are struggling! If anyone can help with any of these, I will be your best friend!!!
The worksheet is called "Lucky 7"
1. Write a number sentence that has a product of 58,829, using six 7's and no other digits. ETA - I believe there may be a problem with this problem. DS will check with teacher in the morning.
2. Write a number sentence that has a difference of 700, using five 7's and no other digits.
3. Write a number sentence that has a quotient of 101, using six 7's and no other digits.
4. How many numbers between 1 and 1,000 can be divided by 7 without a remainder?
Thanks in advance!
