Help!
We recieved an e-mail from the US government stating that our admission is about to expire in 10 days. Logged in to the website they provided and indeed, it doesn't show that we left the US on a mighty big Magic ship. Nowhere on the website can I find where I can correct the information of where I can supply proof that I'm no longer in the country. Disney really dropped the ball here (really, they took our passports for 7 days, they couldn't fix this?) and I don't know how to fix it (I feel a trip to the embassy coming up to proof where we are).
Have any EBTA cruisers experienced this before or does anybody know where I can supply proof? We only have 6 days left (we misinterpreted the e-mail at first)

UPDATE:
Currently my husband and I have overstayed our visa, we're working with CBP to get in cleared, that's it for us.
But:
Currently I’m fighting for my fellow cruisers that don’t know and that I have no way to contact! I refuse to let DCL be inactive and have people at the border refused because of something that could be fixed right now, if DCL only lets them know it’s an issue!

So the border protection has been called. They say to fill out an on line form with proof we left. The response time of the form is 15-20 business days (time we don't have). I have contacted DCL and requested my TA to do the same to try and fix this mess

Luckily my TA is on top of it! She responded she will be calling Disney as soon as the lines open.
The e-mail we received is a do not reply e-mail and I didn't get any confirmation about the on line form I filled out.

I really hope there is something Disney can do to fix this in time

I figured it was a do not reply but was hoping not! Was there a page at the end of the form that said you finished it? Hopefully there was and you have it? As far as a confirmation - I know you usually get them pretty quickly but once in a while not so maybe it is still forthcoming? In any case, I'll send positive vibes for you!! Please let us know when this is resolved.

Yes, I have a report number.
I really hope Disney can to anything to resolve it (reapply the passenger list or something?). It's not just us, all the non-US cruisers have this issue (or at least, everybody I know of who currently checked), it's just that we arrived a bit earlier then most, so we have less time to resolve it.

I will report back

I'm so sorry you're going through this, Disney should definitely fix this for you they clearly messed up somewhere. I hope you get this fixed quickly and it's not too stressful.

OMG, I would never have thought about something like that. I always fly into and out of USA, so it's something I would take for granted. Hope you get it resolved quickly

Disney says it's up to the port of Miami and they dropped the ball. There is nothing they can do

Uhhhh, they have a ship full of people who won’t be let back into the country. Idk, but maybe the can facilitate fixing this with the port?! Jeez!

I was actually checking how expensive it would be to fly into the US and out again, just so we have left within the 6 days. But of course it ridiculously expensive

I think you will be helped by several things.

1. They didn't send the passenger list at all. So all the non-US cruisers are, literally, in the same boat.

2. You are affluent enough to be flying to the US to take a cruise.

Have you tried to contact your embassy, the one nearest to your debarkation point? This is a situation where the embassy may be useful.

You're assuming that Border Protection/Immigration/US Gov't are reasonable about these things. If you're not an American citizen nothing could be further from the truth - especially in today's political climate. As far as #1 - that hardly matters if it looks to immigration that you've overstayed your visa. You are a single person in their computer - not part of a group of cruisers. As far as the second point...well I'm sure there are people who have come into this country and overstayed their visa and have spent more than the cost of a flight and a cruise. I would absolutely be flipping out on Disney if this happened to me. And the fact that they are not even helping...Unbelievable!

Disney has a lot more pull than you do as an individual, their response is unacceptable. Call back and speak to someone higher up. Not good customer service to have this situation happen and not address it appropriately.

I agree. This is potentially very serious.

Yes and neither of these help if I don’t know where to go to correct it in time. I highly doubt they are willing to change our date of departure in retrospect, so we really have just 6 days to get it fixed
