This will be DD5 first time at WDW. It will be my first time since FW '78 staying onsite. This is all new to me. I work in a restaurant so the thought of getting waited on at the TS establishments will be nice. I don't know when I'll be able to afford to come back so I have this 'I want to take it all in' mentality. Combine that with needing to make my ADR'S for my March trip now :hourglass and I fear I may have too many ADR'S for someone traveling with a 5 year old. I know taking it all in isn't the same as having a great time but....
These are my ADR's so far.

Sat: arrive early afternoon and go to Tony's for dinner then while at MK hop
on over to FW for the campfire sing along.

Sun: up early, hopefully, for MK and have ADR at CRT 12:15.
Probably go back to hotel in afternoon and then back over to FW for
HDDMR at 5:00. Fireworks and EMH at MK.

Mon. No ADR until dinner at CR at 4:30. Only thing they had. Stay for
Illuminations.

Tues. Up early for EMH at Epcot and 8:50 ADR for Princess Storybook
breakfast. Want to somehow squeeze Alfredo's in for lunch to
try to Fettucine Alfredo and the butter flown in from Italy.
Take the monorail over to Poly for 5:40 ressie at Ohana.

Wed and Thurs I don't have any ADR's scheduled. Might try Rainforest Cafe
while taking advantage of EMH at AK on Wednesday. Nothing
for Thursday our check out day.

Thanks for any feedback. Am I too booked up each day with no time for spontaneity? :confused3 I'd like to fit in visiting Celebration, playing miniature golf, exploring the resorts, Downtown Disney and the Boardwalk. I don't want to get too stressed out and detract from DD enjoyment.

Your plans look good to me but we usually stay for 7+ days so we book alot. Where are you eating on Monday and since you are wanting to see Illuminations check for availabilty at Alfredo's for that nigh that way you don't over due it on the other day.

I think you are smart to question this. You DO NOT want to be a slave to the ADRs, LOL!

Since your second day is filled with MK, with a break for FW. I'd suggest skipping MK and Tony's on your first day, going instead to Epcot, where you could eat at Alfredo's, then watch Illuminations. That would be a spectacular way to start your trip!

That would allow you to head to bed early on Monday. You'll be tired from your Sunday night EMH at MK, and you plan on getting up early on Tuesday, so an early night will be just what you need at this point in your vacation.

Have fun!

No, not too many ADR's. You picked fun ones, so it's all part of the Disney experience. I don't think you will feel like you are missing out on anything.

However, that is A LOT of running around. We took our first trip in September, and even though we stayed onsite (POP), it was a lot of bus riding and walking. We didn't even park hop at all. The kids would want to go back to the hotel and swim instead of staying for any parades, fireworks, etc. I don't know where your hotel is, but if its not on the monorail where you can get to the parks fast, you may get worn out doing more that one or two things a day.
I think families need about two full weeks to really do EVERYTHING Disney offers. There was so much we did not get to see last trip, and that was just in the four main parks.
My kids loved going around collecting pressed pennies. I bet your child would like it, too...oh. sorry!! I gave you something ELSE to do!!
Hope you have a great time!!!!!!:yay:

Thanks everyone for your replies. Harambe you have a point about switching things around a bit, but I really do want to go to the campfire at FW. Maybe from the list of things I have I should prioritize them so that I there is something I can't do I'll know which to drop. I really do want to go to FW maybe because I went there with my family in 1977. My brother who was about 16 or 17 at the time died in '94 so maybe going there is a sentimental thing. But anyway you make some good points.
Reagan&Co I was planning to collect pressed pennies. I have already printed a guide I got off of Allearsnet. We have on of those books from our trip to Sea World and Busch Gardens two years ago. Thanks everyone.

My only input is that TS meals can take a really long time. There are places that we sat in for nearly two hours. If you have a day where you're doing three TS meals, that's a good chunk of time that you're spending sitting at a table.
Also, these meals are HUGE. You have to ask yourself if you'll really be hungry for lunch after the Storybook breakfast. Maybe a later dinner would be better on that day? If you're on the meal plan, that's even more food. I've never eaten so much in my life. :rotfl:

Have a wonderful time!

You will love the princess breakfast but skip your lunch plans, try and fit that in for another day. The food is good but very rich and you will not be hungry for Ohanas

I think your planning look good, with the exception of Tuesday. I honestly think that 3 TS meals in one day is overdoing it, and you will not only pop from the food overload, but severely cut into your park time.

You will be the best judge of this, but it seems like you have a lot of running planned for a 5-year-old.

Oh, by all means go to FW. Disney is all about memories - and making new ones! My dad always thought we were crazy for going to WDW so much, but he always enjoyed his hats that we brought back for him. After he past away, I brought his favorite Goofy hat to WDW and wore it the whole trip! I knew he'd get a kick out of that.

It looks fine to me. The only thing I'd question is if you'll be able to get 3 ts meals in during a 9-10 hour period on Tuesday. That might be just a tad overzealous. If you're just eating pasta for lunch, it might be doable, but I'm not sure I could pull that one off.

I dont thik I would do 3 on Tuesday thats alot of food in that span of time. You will be spending a good part of your day in the restaurants.

I agree that 3 TS meals in one day is overdoing it. I would relook at that day.
I also agree that a TS dinner can take up to 2 hours time. And if you factor in travel time to a specific location, if you are not already there, that can be another hour.

I think your thought of wanting to "Do it All" this trip is not realistic. I am afraid you will be stressed trying to fit everything in, and ultimately disappointed that you were not able to. Even with 2 weeks at WDW you can not do it all. For example, getting to Celebration will take a bit of time. It is fun to see, but I do not think that it makes sense to take park time on this trip to do that. Same for playing Mini Golf. It too is lots of fun, but will take a great deal of your park time away. You are already worried about that, so I would reconsider.
We have done both of these things, but we are able to go fairly often and we no longer do the parks "Commando Style"
Good luck with your planning and hava Magical Trip:banana:
