Help!! Disney Trading Pin info.

I have been to Disney several times but know almost nothing about this trading pin stuff. A friend has told me that I MUST get some pins before we go.

What's the best way to get them...inexpensively? Ebay, other sites? How many should we start with? We have two kids, ages 7 & 5, who I think would probably enjoy this.

I don't really do it but I do know I have seen them on EBAY and if you choose to just wait till you go down there they have starter kits where you buy a set that comes with a lanyard and I think one type of pin but you get six of them so you can have one and trade the other five!!! thats all I know

I've bought 27 pins for our 3 kids for our upcoming trip. I got them at www.mousepinsonline.com for under $2 each. I was very happy with the service and the pins look great!

We bought a set of 10 pins on ebay and had no problems trading them, you just have to make sure they are disney pins.

We are taking our first trip in Spetember and my DD and i really gearing up for pin trading. I found this info online about Bertoni pins:"Bertoni of Milano was an Italian maker of Disney pins. Bertoni pins are no longer being made... these pins are fairly rare and may be more suitable for collecting than for trading. Bertoni pins are official Disney pins and each pin carries the "©Disney" stamp. Bertoni pins are tradable anywhere Disney pins are traded." From mousepinsonline
