I read on these boards somewhere that you could take your personal photos and turn them into a type of movie/slide show. you download your pictures into it. I cost about $69. I cant remember the site - can someone help me? I don't remember what board I read it on either. thank you :)

Creating a movie with photos is a great idea, and increasing in popularity. I would love to see some of the trip reports created as digital stories. It allows you to see the images and hear narrator's voice at the same time. This adds another dimension to the story.

There are several options for doing this -- you may be thinking about Microsoft Photostory, which is a free download for Windows XP. (Just do a Google search on "Photostory" to locate the download page.)

You can also create movies with still pictures using Microsoft Moviemaker, which is also a free download for WinXP. Movie Maker has more options than Photostory, but Photostory is simpler to use.

If you have a Mac, iMovie is easy to use. A new class of web-based tools for creating movies with still images is also emerging. I could provide more informtion about these if this is of interest.

Are you talking about ......Disney Photomovie? I can't wait until we get back from our September trip because I am having one of these done and getting copies for everyone for X-mas.

I made one of these very cute.......Just make sure to take at least 15 pics at each park to fill it up...my nephews loved seeing themselves interact with donald and crew

I won't be able to decide between the PhotoMovie and the PhotoPass CD available for $99! :teeth:

I just downloaded a software called MySlideShow Gold that was $35 and I love it. I created a DVD of our recent Disney trip with my favorite Disney music - Spectromagic - as the background music. It allowed me to add captions and choose from TONS of fade effects, etc. It was very easy to use, also. My family and I will enjoy watching for years to come!

I also have PhotoStory, which I love, but I couldn't figure out how to burn the DVD's once I made them. I have created a DVD of my son's first soccer game, made DVD's as party favors for my daughter's 7th b'day slumber party -I have really enjoyed it. But MySlideShow gives me a few more options and considering you can pay much more than that for someone else to create your DVD without the personal touch that you would use, I felt like $35 was a bargain!

Check it out at anixsoft.com. Good luck!

thank you Andromedaslove that is exactly what i was looking for! :cool1:
I dont know why i could not pull that up.

thank you to everyone else for their suggestions.
