Help! Disney charged $354 charge to my card - who to call?

Fine but no matter what you had to sign a credit card slip, especially for food, or machine. So you still have no excuse for not knowing what you’ve charged. I don’t understand how OP was unaware or forgot they charged stuff is all

My guess is it was one large charge, rather than multiple individual charges.
When all you see is WDW resort charges, you're like, huh?

But I agree with another poster that folio charges for Disney sometimes are confusing.

I'm still kind of shocked over $550 worth of alcohol for a four-day trip ($354 on folio, $200 delivered from Amazon). Holy COW! o_O
They don’t mention the number of adults. Though it is vacation. DH and I are known to let loose. A lot. Especially when no one is the driver

I think the OP is saying that about $200 of the $354 would have been alcohol and doesn't mention how much was ordered from Amazon. I do drink at WDW and can attest to how expensive drinks tend to be. I have 2 young kids though so the drinking is always very limited. I guess that's one area where my kids save me money at WDW.

I was wondering if I'd read it wrong. As someone who rarely drinks, it just knocked me out. Even with the expensive WDW prices for alcohol.

I never saw the 4 days mentioned anywhere that Klismania keeps referring to.
Yes, drinking is quite expensive at WDW. I had a margarita at Epcot, and it was $25 for drink with tax and tip. $25 for just a regular, not fancy, margarita at a booth, and not good or worth it. I had a drink at Wilderness Lodge Geyser Point. Same, $25 with tax and tip, and not good or worth it, didn't finish it so bad (to me). I wanted a Godiva Martini, but they did not have what you need to make it. Drinking at WDW is expensive.
OP has not been back to explain how he forgot he charged stuff to the room. Possibly because he rented points, was staying deluxe resort, and enjoying the "high life". As he said, it was all paid before. It sounds like he really did just forget, or not realize, or track his spending. Some people don't. If that was his only charge when he got home, he did pretty good.

Yikes, $25 for a margarita is steep. I think my kids got Orange Bird souvenir sippers with a smoothie inside for $15. I guess after tax and tip I probably pay about $25 too at Oga's or Trader Sams though. Much more than $25 after I get souvenir mugs :yoda:

:rotfl2:I was thinking $10 a drink and how that would add up to $550 in four days. $200 is more in line with the $10 a drink thinking.
$10 is a little low for most places, from what I've around my vicinity, and way too low for the °0°.
Taking a quick peek at menus, $15-18 seems average for drinks at the Poly.
Now I remember why DH used to have a separate gift card for that.
When his card ran out, so did the alcohol :lmao:

o_O Holy crackers!! o_O $15 to $18 for ONE drink? I could have a meal for that price!! Wow!

Too funny about your DH, but that's not a bad way to budget! :)

As convenient as the magic bands are, I feel like they cause me to spend more because you don't really think about it ya know? Just tap and POOF! I also prefer seeing individual identifiable charges showing up on my card statement. I really should use the card more than my band...but convenience dangit!!
Nope, that's the point. You think "hey, I don't have my wallet but oh look my magic band..." and then you can get anything.

In the uk a cocktail is normally around £9.50.. so $12. London its around £12 so $15-$20 sounds about right. One of the reasons i dont drink lol

Im in the IOW at the moment and had a mocktail that cost me 9.50 the other day. That is becoming very common with the new alcohol free spirit trend. Give it a few months and i guarantee disney will be offering most alcohlic drinks as mocktails but with very little difference in the price.

I read it as about $200 of the $354 was probably alcohol charged to the magic band. $200 doesn't go very far for drinks at Disney.

Son of a biscuit - that’s it. Allllllllllll the booze (d&mn you Oasis pool bar) and every time we tapped for food.

Next trip - get the booze delivered from Amazon upon arrival! We didn’t bother until our third day - probably $200 of it right there 😬

Thanks guys!!!!
To be fair, with that screen name, I was going booze.
