My Girlfriend and I are headed back to Disney March 20-26, we stayed in the Coronado Springs for 3 nights in October and loved it! Only problem we had is not enough time, and we felt rushed to get everything done so we are coming back.

My options (Coronado is not an option because it is booked for this timeframe)

1) Wilderness Lodge - More expensive then the other choices by about 900 dollars and I am not sure if it is worth it.

2) POR or POFQ - I have heard varying reviews and I am not sure what to think

3) Carribean Beach - We love the look of the resort but we also understand it is very old. How are the rooms and the grounds?

Keep in mind it will be only the two of us, and we are looking for some quiet time as well. We don't mind being around a lot of families, but we would like the option to spend sometime alone in a somewhat romantic setting.

Thanks for any advice!

Oh one final question. Will we be able to do the water parks in March, or will it be too cold?

If it were me, I would choose WL in a heartbeat! If you want to splurge on anything, this would be it. It is so lovely and wonderful I think you will find that the $$ spent is well worth it.

Caribbean beach is old and so spread out and just doesn't appeal to me at all (though have never stayed there). POR & POFQ grounds are very nice but basically the rooms are only slightly bigger than a value and are almost the same as a value IMHO.

The water parks will be open and I would suggest going to Typhoon Lagoon, it ROCKS!!!

We have stayed at both CBR and POFQ. Both are nice, but POFQ had more of a romantic mood to it. Very quaint and small, and the carriage rides seemed really romantic. CBR was much quieter for us, but that was 4 years ago, and during the slow season. The quite pools would be a plus at CBR if you were planning on swimming but for overall atmosphere, POFQ is pure romance and then some. Also the boat to DTD is a nice break from buses and is relaxing. WL seems nice and we have never stayed there, that is a big $$ difference to me, so I would pick probably go with one of the mods and try to hit a deluxe resort at another time maybe during value season when you can get more bang for your buck. Good luck with your decision.

POR - We're a couple who liked POR a lot. We took a nice walk around the grounds, rented a surrey bike it was great fun! And I loved the boat ride to DD, especially at night. Have fun choosing!

We loved CBR this April! It was refurbished just a few years ago, and we found everything to be in good condition. We stayed at WL 5 years ago and loved it too, but for the money, we prefer CBR. Haven't been to the others.

Nice photos. I think I am leaning towards the CBR at the moment. It seems to be the most like the CSR which we both loved. I think I would prefer to save some of the money and go with a moderate.
